The ChABSA council had a very production summer meeting. The dinner meeting dates for 2009-2010 have been selected as well as many of the venues. Be sure to check the ChABSA home page for the dates and meeting information. When you visit the home page you will start to notice change in the web site. A new hosting vendor has engaged who will update and reorganized the web site as well as add some new feature that the council believes will greatly benefit it membership. One of the goals I have set for this year is to increase dialogue between members and the council so that council can steer activities to best fit the needs of the members. In alignment with that effort the council agreed to proceed with a member recommendation to create a new member committee. This committee is being developed and will build or the success of the existing new member chair. There is so much more I would like to tell you about where ChABSA is heading so please ensure you can attend our upcoming dinner meeting to hear about what happening with the Tran- Federal task force and ChABSA update.
